Olson’s Folly was a new dahlia for me last year. Loved the darker orange and white tips. I had to do a double take when I saw the first bloom. Stunning color. It bloomed much earlier than Ala Mode which it is similar to in variations but the brighter orange is striking against the white. A lovely 4 to 6” bloom on a 4+’ plant. Every flower is a new surprise with its bicolor characteristics. It has nice long stems and I can’t wait to use more of it in fall arrangements.
